Fix This Next

Maximizing Leads for the "Fix This Next" (FTN) Book Launch and Advisor Certification Program

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Role: Director of Content + Educational Programs
Timeline: January 2020 – May 2020

In early 2020, I spearheaded the comprehensive ad strategy and execution for the launch of the "Fix This Next" book and certification program by Mike Michalowicz. This involved full-service media management, campaign ideation, and the creation of multi-channel strategies that nurtured warm audiences, encouraged engagement, and supported sustained product visibility.

The Challenge

To get substantial momentum for the FTN evaluation tool, the book, and a training program, in just 4 months was a challenge. The project needed the strategy and the infrastructure to attract new readers, re-engage warm audiences, and drive leads to a $10K+ related program, all within budget constraints and reporting limitations.

My Approach

Strategy and Ideation: I developed and led ad strategies across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, focusing on building multiple lead and sales funnels that could engage and nurture both cold and warm audiences.

Landing Page Creation and Bot Automation: Custom landing pages and messenger bot campaigns were designed and automated to funnel traffic seamlessly from ads to conversions. This provided consistent user interactions and supported clear data tracking.

Content Creation: I handled all ad creative and copywriting, ensuring that all promotional material aligned with the FTN brand and messaging. Video content, including scripting, editing, and design, played a pivotal role in increasing user engagement.

Collaborations and UCG Content: I coordinated cross-promotions with the Ultimate Bundles, Run Like Clockwork, and Profit First teams, leveraging partnerships for maximum impact and broader visibility. Plus, I created UCG content campaigns to gather additional ad content and testimonial content to promote the FTN launch.

The Results

Despite limitations in detailed final reporting due to Meta Ads and Amazon restrictions, key performance metrics highlighted the campaign’s success:

  • Achieved a $1-$2 cost per cold download lead for hundreds of leads through Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn ads.
     

  • Maintained a $4-$5 cost per cold webinar lead for hundreds of leads through targeted ad strategies.
     

  • Secured 25+ new FTN Advisor Program applicants, each valued at $10K per seat.
     

  • Facilitated 100+ online course purchases, contributing to a warm audience pipeline for future initiatives.
     

  • Kept a consistent 5X+ ROAS in Meta Ads Manager for all ad campaigns (could be much, much higher without the reporting limitations).
